Maps can be submitted as an image (webp, png, gif, jpeg), Adobe Portable Document file (pdf), or as an Adobe Flash file (swf). The maximum file size you can submit is 10 MiB. If you have other file types or bulk uploads that you wish to submit then you can email the Better VGMaps Admin.
Make sure to create a detailed name for the video game map that reflects both the overall world or main area and the specific level or sub area as applicable.
It's crucial to ensure that the creator's name is accurately credited for the video game map. This helps give proper recognition to the individual who put in the effort and creativity to develop the map, allowing players to appreciate their work and talent. The contact info for the creator can be either an email or a url.
By uploading a map to the Better VGMaps platform, you confirm that you own the rights to it. If there are any copyright issues regarding the maps in the archive, just shoot an email to the Better VGMaps Admin.
